State-of-the-art gym fitness for students
Recognised as a centre of academic excellence, Banbridge Academy in County Down also places great emphasis on the fitness and sporting achievements of its students. So in 2012, when it came to fitting out the school gym with new equipment, Podium 4 Sport was asked to install top-of-the-range MATRIX 7 series fitness machines and apparatus, making Banbridge Academy the only school in Northern Ireland to have this high-end brand.
The commission included installation of Matrix 7 Series Cardio and Strength Equipment. This range is fitted with an ingenious data return system called Fitlinxx. This allows users to monitor their work-out performance, noting areas of progress, and building up a full picture of individual work-outs and target achievement. We also installed the MATRIX G7 strength kit, which is also linked to Fitlinxx and is noted for its sleek design and compact weight stacks.
With an already strong emphasis on hockey, badminton, cricket, football, netball and rugby, Banbridge Academy can now add its state-of-the-art gym to its list of fitness options for pupils.
